Ralph Wayne Henson

Mr. Ralph Wayne Henson age 79 of Livingston, KY, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at his residence.

Wayne was born May 2, 1942, to the late Clyde Henson and the late Clara Mae (Owens) Henson Ivik.   He enjoyed fishing and hunting, was of the Baptist faith, and pastored many churches over the years.  He served in the United States Army and retired as a Communications Specialist with CSX Railroad. He married Laverne Carter on April 20, 1961, and from that union came three children:  Ruth, Ann, and Roger.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 60 years:  Laverne Henson; three children:  Ruth Collins and husband Steven of Lewisburg, TN, Ann Drifmeyer and husband Tim of London, KY, Roger Henson and wife Pam of London, KY; seven grandchildren:  Aaron, Amanda, Emily, Sam, Gracie, Ryan, Madison; six great-grandchildren:  Noelle, Reagan, Oliver, Everly, Amelia, Adalynn; and one sister:  Shirley Stocks.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers:  Roger and Ray Henson.

A graveside service for Wayne will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 1:00pm at Red Hill Cemetery with Bros. Chris Reynolds and Wayne Harding officiating.  Casket bearers will be Steven Collins, Tim Drifmeyer, Aaron Collins, Sam Drifmeyer, Ryan Henson, and Luke Manuel.
