Ray Willis Obituary

Mr. Ray Willis, Age 79 of Brodhead, Ky departed this life on February 21, 2024, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt Vernon, Ky.

Ray was born on September 2nd ,1944, in Berea KY to the late Clarence and Bendy (White) Willis.

In 1965 he married his first wife Gwendolyn Hatton, from that union came four children.

On June 27th, 1994, Ray married Irene (Cain) Willis and they enjoyed 25 years together till her passing in 2019. From that union came four children.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children; Tamara Clay, Kathy Willis, Scott Willis all of Richmond, Christiana Gross, Jonathan Cain both of Waco, Joshua Willis of Mt. Vernon, Katherine Burns of Marion Ky, Steven Burns, Cheyenne Brown both of Mt. Vernon and Long Nguyen. Twenty-five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. One brother Fred Willis of Richmond, KY.

Besides his parents and second wife he is preceded in death by one child Tina Ray Willis one Great grandchild Anakin Burns and two brothers William and James Willis.

A memorial service to be held at a later date.
