Rebecca (Mink) Machal

Rebecca Charlene Mink Machal, age 58, of Mt. Vernon, Ky, departed this life on Monday, June 8th, 2026. Rebecca was born on July 17th, 1967, in Indianapolis, Indiana. A daughter to Owen Mink and Bonnie (Baird) Mink. On October 6th, 1990, she married Anthony Machal and from that union came one child; Cora Elizabeth.

Rebecca was a Christian and a member of First Christian Church in Mt. Vernon. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, antiquing, movies and music but most of all she loved spending time with friends and family.

Rebecca is survived by her Husband, Anthony Machal, her daughter Cora Elizabeth Miller and husband Kagan of Brodhead. One grandchild Charlotte Lucille Miller. Two sisters Sabrina Bishop husband Chris of Mt. Vernon; Amanda Cole of London. Mother-in-law Betty Machal of Mt. Vernon; Sister-in-law Alicia Greiwe husband Steve of Somerset. As well as host of nieces/nephews, aunts, uncles, and special friends Gail Thacker, Danny and Carolyn Hinton as well as many other friends and neighbors.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her father Owen Mink and her mother Bonnie (Baird) Mink. Father-in-law Robert Machal.

Memorial service for Rebecca will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Chapel on Saturday June 13th with visitation starting at 11 till time of the funeral at 1 PM. Brothers Jason Ivey and Robert Miller officiating.
