Richard Wayne Ruffin

Mr. Richard Wayne Ruffin, age 68, of Brodhead, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Richard was born on September 13, 1951, in Evansville, IN, to the late Henry Everette and Gloa Glee (Faulkner) Ruffin Jr. He was a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church, enjoyed restoring tractors, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Those left to celebrate his life, are his wife:  Donna (Baker) Ruffin; two children:  Brian (Rachael) Ruffin of Earlington, KY, Marti Jo (Chris) McCarty of Eddyville, KY; three step-children:  Amanda (Mitchell) Clontz of Brodhead, KY, Christy Lee Hale of Brodhead, KY, Ricky Hale Jr. of Brodhead, KY; eight grandchildren:  Maggie Christopher, Cody Tillett, Devin Tillett, Austin Polk, Nathan Polk, Makayla Renner, Ethan McCarty, and Chance Key.   

Besides his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother:  Henry Everette Ruffin, III; and one sister:  Norma Kay Cartwright.

Visitation for Mr. Richard Wayne Ruffin will be Friday, November 1, 2019, from 6-9 pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. 

Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 2 pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Randal Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.
