Robbin L Bishop

Robbin Lee Bishop, age 64, of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away on Friday, October 17th, 2025, after an illness. He was born on February 3rd, 1961, in Mt. Vernon, KY. He was the son of Billy and Omah Kathleen (Jones) Bishop.

Robbin worked many professions throughout his life, but retired from McNew Monuments. Robbin enjoyed working outside and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother: Omah Kathleen (Jones) Bishop, his wife of 44 years: Sharon Rae (Hayes) Bishop of Mt. Vernon: his son Quenton Lee Bishop of Mt. Vernon, his sister: Rose Sharon Bishop of Richmond, brother-in-law: Lloyd Alvin Hayes of Springfield, sister-in-law: Brenda Hayes of Brodhead, nieces: Amy (John) Yates and Andrea (Sonny) Parker, both of Mt. Vernon, and Jessica Hayes of Nicholasville, as well as great nieces and a great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father: Billy Bishop, and his in-laws: Donald and Linda Hayes.

The family will hold a celebration of life on Monday, October 20th 2025 at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals from 5pm-7pm.
