Robert Edsal Miller

Mr. Robert Edsal Miller, age 85, of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Baptist Health Richmond.

Robert was born April 12, 1935 in Orlando, KY to the late Oliver and Harriett (Gregory) Miller. He married Bernice Alcorn on August 15, 1964. He worked as a stone mason contractor, was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed fishing and four-wheeling.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 56 years: Bernice Miller; one brother: J.D. (Judy) Miller of Livingston, KY; and one sister:  Bernice (Jr.) Smith of Burrhill, KY; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters:  Mary Gregory and Lucy Borchert, and one brother:  Preston Miller.

Visitation for Robert Miller will be Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 11am until time for funeral services at 1pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Mark Eaton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Briarfield Cemetery. Casket bearers are Jimmy Gregory, Danny Smith, Jamison Smith, Roger Smith, Mark Overbay, and Scott Miller.
