Roger Barron

OBITUARY NOTICE:

William Roger Barron, age 57, of Mt Vernon, KY, passed away on Monday, September 29th, 2025, at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. He was born on December 12th, 1967, in Mt Vernon, KY. He was a son to Russell Barron and Mattie Mcferron Barron.

He attended and was a member of Chestnut Ridge Church of Christ. Roger was a logger by trade, and he enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, and Dirt Track Racing.

He is survived by his mother: Mattie (Mcferron), two sons: Danny Barron  of Mt Vernon, and Justin Barron (McKenzie) of Mt Vernon, three grandchildren; Aivyn Barron, Kasey Barron, Andrew Barron, his brothers; Billy Barron (Karen) of Scaffold Cane, Bobby Barron (Carolyn) of Mt. Vernon, Ricky Barron of Scaffold Cane, his sisters; Brenda Cromer (Skeeter), Linda Callebs (Mark) of Mt Vernon.

Roger was preceded in death by his wife: Carolyn Ann Bullock Barron, his father: Russell Barron, three brothers; James Barron Jr, Donnie Barron, Danny Barron (little Danny), one grandchild: Bradley Barron.

Visitation for Roger will be Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at Owens Chapel from 6-9pm. Funeral service will be Friday, October 3rd, at 2pm with Bros.. Ovie Baker and Marcus Reppert officiating, Burial will follow in High Dry Cemetery.
