Roger Curtis Bray, age 72, of Brodhead, Ky passed away Sunday, May 12th, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on January 26th, 1952, in Berea, Ky. Son of the late Dale and Aslee (Whitehead) Bray. On July 5th, 1991, he married Sharon Brummett, and they enjoyed 33 years together. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Roger was also a member of Kingston Lodge #315, Brodhead Lions Club and Shriners Club. He worked at Square D for 32 years and then worked for the city of Brodhead for 10 years. He was a Jack of all trades and especially liked tinkering with computers. Roger was a big Rockcastle sports fan; he was the bus driver for most Rockcastle County Teams. Roger loved his pet Lacey Rae (Pumpkin Head).
Those left to celebrate his life are his wife: Sharon (Brummett) Bray. His Children; Neil Bray (Amy), Heather McClure (Dalon Ingram), Josh Bray (Heather). His Grandchildren; Abigail Day (Jesse), Hadley Bray, Hannah and Hunter Zanet, Alexander Bray, Asher Bray, Bonus Grandchild: Drake Ingram. Two brothers; Richard Bray (Jenny), Ronnie Bray (Rose). A host of nieces and nephews, friends, and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Dale and Aslee (Whitehead) Bray.
Masonic rites at 1:30 and funeral service 2 P.M. will be held at Marvin E. Owens chapel Saturday at 2 PM.
