Roger Dale Reams

Roger Dale Reams, age 67, of Mt. Vernon, KY passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Roger was born on July 8, 1955, in Mt. Vernon, KY, a son of the late Elmo and Delia (Stewart) Reams. He was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed watching basketball, baseball, and dirt track racing.

Those left to celebrate his left are his children: Delia Mays & Richard, Jared Dale Reams, and Mikah Reams & Danielle, all of Mt. Vernon, KY; three grandchildren: Javan Hasty, Skyler Durham, and Robert Reams; a brother: Kenny Reams of East Bernstadt, KY; three sisters: Phyllis McGuire of Orlando, KY, Darla (Reams) Moore of Orlando, KY, and Glenna Settles & Larry of Brodhead, KY; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Perry Montjoy, Jerry Montjoy, Anthony Reams, and Bobby Jean Reams.

Services for Roger will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals on Sunday, August 7, 2022, beginning with the visitation at 12pm, until the time of the funeral service at 2pm, with Lonnie McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Briarfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contribution/donations can be made to the Briarfield Cemetery Fund, in memory of Roger.
