Ruby D (Price) Day

Mrs. Ruby D. Price Day, age 77, of Brodhead, KY, passed away Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at Rockcastle Health and Rehab in Brodhead, KY.

Ruby was born on May 23rd, 1947, to the late R.S. and Gilberta Mink Price. On September 19th, 1970, she married William Day, and they enjoyed 47 years together until his passing in 2018.

Ruby was a clerk for many years at Rockcastle Regional Hospital and she attended Climax Christian Church in Climax, KY. She enjoyed all kinds of flowers and watching game shows.

Those left to celebrate her life are her brothers; Wendell Price of Brodhead, Bobby Price of IN, her sister: Phyllis Childress of IN, her sister-in-law, Margaret Barnett of Brodhead, brothers-in-law; James Day, Chester (Paula) Day, Joe (Janet) Day all of Brodhead, her best friends; Wilbur and Tammy Harrison.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: William Day, her brother: James Price.

Visitation for Ruby will be Friday, March 14th, 2025, from 6-9pm at Owens Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 15th, at 2pm with Bro. Bob Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
