Ruby Mae (Cottrell) Reynolds

Mrs. Ruby Mae Reynolds, age 90, of Crab Orchard, passed away at U.K. Hospital in Lexington, Ky.

Ruby was born on April 7th, 1935, in Rockcastle Co., a daughter to the late Zeak and Bettie Stevens Cottrell. On December 12th, 1950, she married Kenneth Reynolds (2003) and from that union came two children, Janet and Betty.

 Ruby was a homemaker and she was a member of Bethel Church of Christ. She enjoyed working puzzle books, quilting, and her little dog “Ginger”

Ruby is survived by her children; Janet Taylor, Betty (Charles) Broughton, her grandchildren; Rita Brown (Billy Shawn), Michelle Martin (Josh), her great grandchildren; A.J., D.J., and Taylor Martin, and Jaxson Brown, her sister: Edna Elder.

Besides her parents Ruby was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Reynolds, her son-in-law Garry Taylor, her brothers; Carl and Lester Cottrell, her sister: Bonnie Reynolds.

Visitation for Ruby will be Sunday, December 21st, 2025, from 6-9pm at Owens Chapel, Funeral service will be on Monday, December 22nd, 2025, at 2pm with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
