Shannon Patrick Owens

OBITUARY NOTICE:

Shannon Patrick Owens, age 53 of Brodhead, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at his residence.

He was born on June 28, 1972 in Danville, Ky., a son of the late Marion Owens and Brenda Carrol Owens.  Shannon found great joy in gardening, sports and spending time with family. 

Those left to celebrate his life are his sister, Melissa Owens of Brodhead, Ky; his children, Davidson Bishop of Mt. Vernon, Ky. and Abigail Owens of Somerset, Ky.  His niece: Taylor Owens, his nephews: Ethan Benge and Jordan Brigg.  As well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Scott Owens.

Cremation was chosen with a memorial service scheduled at a later date.
