Shirley Dianah (Harris) Maples

Ms. Shirley Harris Maples age 58 of Brodhead, KY passed away Monday September 20, 2021 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Shirley was born December 4, 1962, to the late Raymond and Polly Hacker Harris. She was of the Christian faith and loved the outdoors, fishing, kayaking, gardening, spending time with family and her dog, Zowie.

Those left to celebrate her life are her son: Matt Maples and wife Loren of Brodhead, Ky, one brother: Randall Harris of Brodhead, KY, and one sister: Earna Rae Harris of Lebanon, Ky.

Visitation for Shirley will be Saturday at 11am until time for the funeral service at 1pm at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Arthur Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery. Casket bearers are Michael Scott, Coy Robinson, Delzie Kelly, Dillion Asher, Roger Reynolds, and Jason Reynolds. Honorary casket bearers are Ernie “Ebo” Boggs, Joe Cummins, and Gary “Jitterbug” Kidwell.
