Teddy Rose, 69 of Brodhead, departed this life Sat. Dec. 27, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on September 13, 1956 in Hamilton, Ohio, a son of the late Ted and Bonie Mae (Parriman) Rose. He proudly served his country in the US Armed Forces. He worked in Maintenance for the Fayete County Housing Authority and was a Brodhead City Commissioner. Teddy found great joy in fishing, motorcycles, playing cards and watching football with his friends and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. On November 7, 1981 he married Marjorie Ann (Bailey) Rose and they enjoyed 41 years together prior to her passing June 11, 2023.
Those left to celebrate his life is his daughter: Courtney May and her husband Travis of Lancaster, Ky; his grandchildren: Spencer and Harper May; his siblings: Greg Rose(Sara) of Brodhead; Linda Sue Palermo (Dave) of Brodhead; and Tammie Mitchell (Mark) of Frankfort. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors. Special friends: Harold Taylor and Robbie Lay.
Beside his parents, and wife Margie, he was preceded in death by a sister, Starla Jean Rose.
A memorial service for Teddy will be Sat. Jan. 3, 11-1PM at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Shannon Franklin officiating. Military rites will be conducted at Negro Creek Cemetery. Donation in Teddy honor can be made to the Brodhead City Hall/Fire Department.
