Thelma Pauline (Ping) Gentry

Mrs. Thelma Pauline Gentry, age 86, of Brodhead, KY, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020, at the Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Pauline was born January 12, 1934 in Lincoln County, to the late Joe Vernon and Vernie (Gooch) Ping.  She married Donald Dallas Gentry on May 30, 1958 and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. 

Those left to celebrate her life are her special neighbors:  Larry and Pam Taylor of Brodhead, KY, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Gentry; two brothers:  Ray and Vernon Ping; and three sisters:  Wilmoth Hawkins, Patsy Mihalek, and Peggy Ann Ping.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 12pm until time for the funeral service at 2pm with Bro. Zandall Hasty officiating.  Burial will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.  Both services will be at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, KY.
