Thomas Earl Stephens

Mr. Thomas Earl Stephens, age 59 of Richmond, KY passed away Monday, July 2, 2021, at his residence.

Tom was born August 2, 1961, in Dayton, OH to Earl Dean and Sydney Phyllis (Burke) Stephens. He graduated in 2013 from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Park Administration. He served as a Deacon at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, was an incredibly talented woodworker, liked working with computers, and cooking.  He had a true servant’s heart and stood ready to help anyone at any time.  

Those left to celebrate his life are his parents:  Earl Dean and Sydney Phyllis Stephens of Cookeville, TN; one sister:  Sandra Jackson and husband David of Frankfort, MI; as well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Tom was preceded in death by his brother:  Dan Stephens.

A memorial service for Tom will be held Friday, July 9, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Richmond, KY with Shannon Franklin officiating.
