Timothy Alan Whitehead

Timothy Alan Whitehead, age 63, of Brodhead, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at his home.

Tim was born in Maryville, TN, on March 10, 1959, a son of Mary Frances Harbison Whitehead, and the late Dwight J. Whitehead. He worked as a truckdriver for Eastern Kentucky Recycling. He was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming.

Those left to celebrate his life are his mother: Frances Whitehead of Brodhead, KY; his children: Michelle Whitehead of London, KY, Kasey Newcomb & Dougie of Orlando, KY, and Maverick Reynolds & Roxanne of Orlando, KY; eight grandchildren: Hayden Frechette, Addyson Smith, Kellie, Hunter, Chase, and Ryder Newcomb, and Brooklyn and Jocelyn Reynolds; three brothers: David Whitehead of Brodhead, KY,  Michael Whitehead & Neice of Brodhead, KY, Gordon Whitehead & Stephanie of LaGrange, GA; two sisters: Cynthia Burton & Terry of Brodhead, KY, and Linda Clontz & Joseph of Mt. Vernon, KY; his fiancé Lisa Simpson of Brodhead, KY; as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight J. Whitehead.

Services for Tim will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals on Saturday, August 27, 2022, beginning with the visitation at 11am, until the time of the funeral service at 1pm with Jeff King, Doug Brock, Charlie Norris, and Ralph Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery.
