Tina (Doan) Sowder

Tina Sowder, age 63, departed this life on Friday, June 26th, 2026, at her residence in Mt. Vernon.

She was born on October 17th, 1962, in Cincinnati, OH., the daughter of the late Vernon and Charlotte Lawson Doan. Tina attended Calloway Holiness Church. She loved listening to music and Dancing but most of all she enjoyed spending time with Friends and Family.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children; Joshua Sowder of Mt Vernon, Heaven Sowder of Mt. Vernon, seven grandchildren, her sister: Debbie Hellard (Larry Shepherd) of Mt. Vernon, her brother: Dalmas Doan (Vickie) of Mt. Vernon, her sister-in-law: Donna Doan.

Besides her parents Tina was preceded in death by her son: Jason Wheeler, her brothers; Dennis Doan, Michael Doan, and Vernon Doan Jr.

Services for Tina will be Thursday July 2 from 11 am till time of the funeral at 1 PM at Calloway Holiness Church.  Brother Phillip Doan officiating Burial will follow at Sowder Cemetery
