Travis Dooley

Travis Earl Dooley, age 65, passed away on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026, at Lake Cumberland Medical Center in Somerset, Ky.

Travis was born in Rockcastle Co. on June 10th, 1961, to the late Albert and Jerline French Dooley. Travis was of the Baptist faith, and he was a Woodworker and Craftsman by trade.

He is survived by his brother: George (Barbara) of Mt. Vernon, KY, his sisters: Ruby Beam of Kewanee, IL, Lucille McHargue of Mt. Vernon, Carol Bryant (Rudy Burdette) of Brodhead, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and his Oakwood family.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; James Franklin, Johnny Dooley, his sisters: Dicie Marie Mullins, Florence Dooley, his brothers-in-law; Howard McHargue, Carver Beam, and Bill Bryant; his nephews, Josh Dooley and Steven M. Dooley.

Visitation for Travis Will be Tuesday, July 28th, 2026, from 11am-1pm at Owens Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 1pm with Bros.Jack and Grant Martin officiating.                

 Burial will follow in Fairview- Mullins Station Cemetery.
