Vall Martin Franklin

Mr. Vall Martin Franklin, age 62, of Brodhead, KY, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at his residence.

Vall was born July 31, 1959, in Mt. Vernon, KY to the late Raymond Shannon and Wanda Wright Franklin.  He was a believer in Jesus Christ, was a truck driver, and a mechanic who could fix anything - literally.  

He loved deer hunting, motorcycles, gardening, and his family.

Those left to celebrate his life are his “Aunt Jane” Audrey W. Hamm of Brodhead, KY; one brother:  Shannon Franklin and wife Jill of Brodhead, KY; one nephew:  Jacob Franklin and wife Brooklyn of Richmond Hill, GA; two nieces:  Maggie Kate Franklin, Valerie Claire Franklin; girlfriend: Tammy Estep of Brodhead, KY; stepchildren:  Sybil Forsythe and husband Solomon of Richmond, KY, Jeremy Saylor; and grandchildren:  Selise, Kai, and Lucian Forsythe.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Vall Franklin will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 6-9pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery.
