Vernon Leon Doan Jr.

Mr. Vernon Leon Doan Jr, age 48, of Mt Vernon, KY passed away November 13th, 2024, at University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Vernon was born April 8, 1976, in Mt Vernon, KY. A son to the late Vernon and Charlotte (Lawson) Doan. He attended Callaway Holiness Church, and he enjoyed playing guitar, hunting, and fishing.

Those left to honor his life are his children, Amber Doan of Mt Vernon, LeAnn Doan of Mt Vernon. One grandchild; Arianna Denny, Two sisters; Tina Doan of Mt Vernon, Debbie Hellard (Larry Shepherd) of Mt Vernon. Two brothers; Dennis Doan (Donna) of Mt Vernon, Dalmas Doan (Vicki) Doan of Mt Vernon. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one child: Alex Denny. One grandchild; Iris Denny. One Brother; Michael Doan.

Services for Vernon will be Monday, November 18th, at Calloway Holiness Church , starting at 11 am till the time of the funeral at 2pm with Bro. Phillip Doan Officiating. Burial will follow at Doan Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the funeral fund for Mr. Doan at the Marvin E. Owens funeral home.
