Virginia Jones Barron
Obituary
Virginia (Jones) Barron, age 58, of Livingston, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.
Virginia was born on January 10, 1964, in Laurel, KY, a daughter of the late Jr. and Flossie (Overbay) Jones. She Was of the Pentecostal faith, and enjoyed crocheting, reading her bible, and spending time with her friends and family. She and Ricky Barron were united in holy matrimony on October 1, 1981.
Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of 40 years: Ricky Barron of Livingston, KY; two children: Kerri Abrams, and Rick Austin Barron, both of Livingston, KY; two grandchildren: Alex and Kaylea Abrams; two brothers: Jeff Jones, and Carlos Jones & Renea Jevadon; two sisters: Barabra Smith & Danny, and Christine McClure & Bobby; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Walter Lee, James, and Donnie Jones.
Visitation for Virginia will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 4:30-8pm. Funeral service will be Friday, April 29, 2022, at 2pm, with Phillip Doan officiating. Both will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery.
