Virginia Jane Griffin

OBITUARY NOTICE:

Virginia Jane Griffin, age 71, of Brodhead, Ky., passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

She was born on May 28, 1953 in Mt. Vernon, Ky. a daughter of the late William Bostic and Ruby Bussell Bostic.  She enjoyed reading, fishing and cross word puzzles.  On July 6, 1987 she was united in marriage to Carol (Gene) Griffin and from that union came two sons, Joseph and Billy.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Joseph Bostic of Mt. Vernon and Billy Bostic of Mt. Vernon.  Her grandchild: Abigail Bostic. Her sister: Diane Lamb of Mt.Vernon.  As well as nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Griffin; brothers: Tinie, Jack, Jim, Donald Ray Bostic; sisters: Donna Faye Bostic and Joyce Bullen.

Visitation for Virginia Griffin will be Monday, Dec. 2, 2024 from 5-8pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at 2PM at the Marvin E Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Phillip Doan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bostic/Buckeye Cemetery.
