Virginia Payne Obituary

Ms. Virginia Louise (Overbay) Payne, age 79, of Somerset, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, KY.

Virginia was born June 7, 1941 in Pine Hill, KY to the late Edgar and Laura (Huff) Overbay. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

Those left to celebrate her life are one brother: Willard Overbay of Somerset, KY; and two sisters: Nancy Morris of Somerset, KY, and Vivian Miller and husband Benny of Somerset, KY.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Earl Payne; brothers: Junior Overbay, Kenneth Begley, Edward Begley; and sisters: Marie Overbay and Dorothy Barnes.

A graveside service will be held for Ms. Virginia on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery with Benny Miller officiating.
