Wanda Ann (Blevins) Proctor

Ms. Wanda Ann Proctor, age 90, of Brodhead, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Rockcastle Health and Rehab in Brodhead.

Wanda was born in Bee Lick, KY, on December 14, 1932, a daughter of the late Justin and Lucy (Rogers) Blevins. She was a member of Berea Church of Christ. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, making baskets, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-granchildren.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Sharon Hargis & Dallas of Lexington, KY, Roger Proctor & Shari of Brodhead, KY, and Barry Proctor & Markita of Brodhead, KY; four grandchildren: Kendra Stenzel, Hillary Whitaker, Stephanie Owens, and Brandon Proctor; eight great-grandchildren: Michael Staggs, Jackson Whitaker, Madelyn Whitaker, Reni Owens, Dani Owens, Max Owens, Avery Proctor, and Noah Proctor; three brothers: Carl Blevins & Sharon of Whitley City, KY, Dave Blevins of Bee Lick, KY, and Bobby Blevins & Debbie of Eubank, KY; three sisters: Carolyn Sluss & Bill of IN, Betty Sutton & Ted of Ohio, and Martha Hamm of Berea, KY; as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Ina Cash, Paul Blevins, and Glen Blevins.

Services for Wanda will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals on Saturday, January 14, 2023, beginning with visitation at 11am, until the time of the funeral service at 1pm, with Stephen Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Church of Christ Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Brandon Proctor, Lonnie & Clayton Cash, Keith Mink, and Robbie & Rodney Blevins.
