Willard Carl Brown

Mr. Willard Carl Brown age 96 of West Chester OH passed away December 15 at UC West Chester Hospital West Chester, Ohio.

Willard was born April 18, 1928, in Quail, Kentucky to the late Dennis Carl and Daun Hamm Brown. On June 4, 1953, he married Nina Bullock, and they enjoyed 46 years till her passing in 2000. From that union came two children, Susan and Phyllis. Willard served his country in the Army in Korea from 1950 to 1952. He was a member of the of Providence Church of Christ, American Legion #194 in Mason, OH and enjoyed gardening, UK basketball, playing Rook, cracking walnuts and Cincinnati Reds.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children Susan Sewell (Eudene) of West Chester, OH and Phyllis Whitfield (John) of Madisonville KY. Two grandchildren; Tyler Ramsey (Kandance) of Madisonville, KY and Caroline Taylor (Chris) Amsterdam, Netherlands. Two great-grandchildren Aiden and Duncan Ramsey.

Besides his parents and his wife Nina, Willard was preceded  in death by Brother Wilburn Brown and sister Irene Moore.

Cremation was chosen by Willard and his family with plans for a celebration of life to be held in January 16 with visitation starting at 10 A.M. till time of the Funeral at 12.
