William Franklin Cope

Mr. William Franklin Cope, age 86 of Eubank, KY passed away Friday April 2, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

William was born May 2, 1934 in Rockcastle County to the late Willie and Mary Grant Cope. He was a forklift mechanic, was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed fishing, farming, and hunting.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children:  William Franklin Cope, Jr., and wife Deborah of Dayton, OH, Fonda Dawkins and husband Willie of Dayton, OH, Roderick Cremeens of Dayton, OH, James Cremeens, Jr. and wife Diane of New Carlisle, OH, Tiffany Helke and husband Chris of Dayton, OH, Rocky Cremeens and wife Rachel of Science Hill, KY; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one brother:  Buddy Cope of Mt Vernon, KY; and two sisters:  Alice Shoope of Cleveland, OH, and Christine Barnett of Berea, KY.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife:  Joyce Ann Jones Cope; one brother:  Earnest Lee Cope; and two sisters:  Helen Powell and Jean Hayes.

Visitation for William Franklin Cope will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 11:00am until time for the funeral service at 1:00pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. James Harding officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.
