William Allen Martin

Mr. William Allen Martin age 69 of Mt. Vernon Passed away August 25th, 2024 at UK Bluegrass Care of Lexington.

William was born October 28, 1954, in Berea, KY to the late Walter Martin and Melba Mason Kemp.

He enjoyed Riding Motorcycles, civil war reenactments and watching grandchildren play sports. He was a member of the Patriot Guard and the 43rd Tennessee, company E.

William is survived by his partner Karen Stallsworth; two children: Sarah Smith, (Doug) of Brodhead and Daniel Martin (Ashleigha) of Mt. Vernon. Seven Grandchildren: Dawson Martin, Tyson Johnson, Colten Johnson, Mystic Martin, Sawyer Smith, Sutton Smith, and Harley Martin. One brother; Walter “Butch” Martin of Texas).

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a son; Samuel Martin, brother David Mason, and sister Joy Martin.

Visitation for Mr. Martin will be Wednesday August 28, 2024, starting at 5 PM till 8. Funeral will be Thursday August 29, 2024, at 1 PM. Brother Jason Medley officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
