William Ray Sandlin

William Ray Sandlin, age 71 of Mt. Vernon, Ky. passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Ky.

He was born on April 21, 1952 in Rockcastle County, a son of the late Sam and Helen Smith Madden Sandlin. He had worked for an Auction Co., and found great pleasure in fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children: Melanie York (Charles) of Ocala, FL; April Miller (Jonathan) of Berea, Ky; William Miller of Richmond, Ky; and Aimee Miller (Jordan McClure) of Brodhead, Ky; His grandchildren: Justin and Haley York, and Cambrya McClure; His brother: David Madden; His sisters: Myrtle Madden Rowe and Sally Madden James.  As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Graveside services for William Ray Sandlin will be conducted Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 12Noon at Laswell-Gentry Cemetery in Brush Creek, Ky.
