William "Bill" Henry Fowler Jr.

Mr. William “Bill” Henry Fowler Jr., age 73, of Berea, KY, passed away, Monday, February 3, 2020, at St. Joseph Health Care in Lexington, KY.

Bill was born September 9, 1946, in Paris, KY, to the late William Henry and Nancy (Clinkenbeard) Fowler.  He served in the U.S. Army, was a machinist at Rexroth for 49 years, and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. He enjoyed his family, grandchildren, UK basketball, fishing, collecting guns and knives, and was a member of Bourbon County F & AM Masonic Lodge.  He married Martha Powell on June 12, 1970, and from that union came two children:  Gwyn and William.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 49 years:  Martha Fowler; his children:  Gwyn (Ron) Bernot of Lawrenceburg, KY, William “Billy” (Alice) Fowler of Cartersville, KY; five grandchildren:  Joshua McNew, Pvt. Paige Fowler, RJ Bernot, Briely Fowler, and Kash Fowler; one brother:  Kenneth (Linda Carol) Fowler of Paris, KY; and one sister-in-law:  Patricia Fowler.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother:  Julian Fowler.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, 2020, from 6-9 pm at Fairview Baptist Church with Masonic Rites at 7pm.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 7, 2020 at 1:00pm at Fairview Baptist Church with Bro. Vaughn Rasor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Powell Family Cemetery with Military Honors.
