Wilma Jean (Murray) Wilson

Mrs. Wilma Jean (Murray) Wilson, age 66, widow of Elbert Wilson, of Brodhead, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, KY.

Wilma was born April 20, 195 4 in Pineville, KY to the late Boyd and Willa Maurine (Jones) Murray. She was a homemaker, a member of the Pentecostal Faith, enjoyed antiques, flower arranging, and cooking.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children:  Nora Jean Nichols and husband Eddie of Berea, KY, Dewayne Sizemore and wife Dorothy of Brodhead, KY, Carla Robinson and husband Jason of Mt. Vernon, KY; stepchildren:  Barb Snyder and husband Jerry, Ron Wilson, Elbert Wilson, Jr. all of Batavia, OH, Bonnie Kauffman and husband Mike of Campbell, CA; grandchildren:  Brandon Nichols and wife Heather, T.J. Nichols and wife Destiny, Tabitha Nichols, Kayla Barnes, Haley Robinson, Chris Robinson, Jaden Robinson, Chloe Robinson, Doug Snyder, Greg Snyder; great grandchildren:  Dawson, Eli, Gracelynn, Immanuel, Noah, and Tayah. And brothers:  Donald Murray of Middlesboro, KY, Kenneth Murray of Brodhead, KY, and Roger Murray of LaFollette, TN; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elbert Lee Wilson in 2005; her fiancé: Donald Mills in 2015; her sisters:  Shirley Partin, Lou Gibson, Ginevee Smith, Niena; and brothers:  Bobby Murray, Bill Murray, and Randall Murray.

Visitation for Wilma Jean Wilson will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 12pm until time for the funeral service at 2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bros. Terry Orcutt and Lonnie McGuire officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery on Bowling Ridge Rd. Casket bearers are Carl, Chris, Brandon, T.J., Mitchell, Zaydan, and Jason. Honorary casket bearer is Eddie.
