Mrs. Wilma J. Cooney Slagle, age 77 of Woodway, Va., passed away peacefully Friday, July 31, 2015 at Winchester Place, Canal Winchester, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Willard Barker of Woodway, Va., one brother, Lester W. Barker of Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by one brother, Floyd Lee Barker of Mason, Ohio; sister-in-law: Betty Sue Barker of Baltimore, Ohio; one niece: Sandra (Barker) Bader and Todd; three nephews: Lester and Paula Barker of Ludlow Falls, Ohio; Phil and Tina Barker of Baltimore, Ohio; and Eric and Michelle Barker of Baltimore, Ohio; five great nieces: Sarah, Allie, Nicole, Anna and Lily; eight great-nephews, Ryan, Matt, Adam, Jeremiah, Zack, Noah, Nick and Gabe; one great-great niece, Lily and two great-great nephews: Carson and Hunter; one special friend: Roy Grizzle of Jonesville, Va.
