Wilma and I were classmates at Pennington High School.  She was so hospitable to extend invitations to me and other classmates to stay at her house when we came to class reunions.  We had wonderful visits together!
I remember the beautiful flowers in her garden and all the cats she gave homes and loved.  I've lost a special friend whom I'll miss very much!

Wilma was so much a part of all our lives in Dryden. She was never forgot where she came from and always made sure she acknowledged you when she saw you. Her love of stray animals endeared her to so many people. Wilma taught us the value of a dollar even down to a penny. She will be missed by us all. She was a very classy lady right down to her love of hats.
Rest in peace, Wilma. Will see you in heaven one day.

Wilma was a good friend of my sister, Joyce Lackey, as well as me.  Wilma and Joyce were telephone operators, took vacations together, really good friends.  in fact Jan, Wilma's first husband, taught Joyce to water ski.  My brother Merle was an engineer with the railroad, and Jan was a brakeman.  Wilma graduated with my husband, Eunice, from Pennington High School in 1956. The picture of Wilma with her tiger lily is one I made when Joyce and I were visiting her.  Good lady.  She will be sorely missed.

Wilma was one of the good ones in our class. So sorry to hear she has left this earth, but she has gone to a much better place in heaven.
