So very sorry for the loss of Mrs. Margie.. She was the room mate of my Aunt Christine at The Terrace for the last year until her passing. Even though Margie could not verbally hold a conversation at this point Aunt Chris talked to her all the time and looked after her. We visited them quite often. She was a beautiful lady on the outside, sorry we never got to get to know the fun, loving lady that has been described in the other posts by family.. As of earlier this week there was no new room mate for Aunt Chris. So thankful for the promise of a better day coming for all of us who believe. Today Mrs. Margie is getting her reward.. Happy, Healthy and spreading that laughter that has been described by her family on the streets of glory. RIP sweet Margie until we meet again.

What can I say about my Aunt Margie....She could always make me laugh.I can still hear that laugh & her whole body shook when she was laughing.I loved staying with my Papaw & Mamaw so when Margie & Charlie came down I was usually there.Margie would immediately start bringing in cleaning supplies,Mamaw hated it & just sit with a hankie covering her mouth.I remember Mamaw asking me why Margie wanted to clean the attic & stir up dust.I just said she LOVES to clean......lol
Margie was always so sweet to me I hated losing our funny Margie the past several years, but it was hardest on Daddy , he hoped every visit she would remember him.She actually did once she told him he looked like her brother Isaac & he said he was & she said no your not.
Was nice to know that she remembered in own mind, not all is forgotten but just misplaced.I choose to believe that. But now she's perfect in every way I love you Margie & will see you again.
I thought I would actually hear Margie chasing Charlie when she made it to Heaven......yelling at him asking why he went before her.......Margie loved Order
Thank you Margie for loving my Daddy....he told me you always kept him going by reading your letters.Thank you from a very appreciative daughter.......Bekki

There has never been or ever will be another like Margie. I can hear that laugh of hers. She seemed to find something to laugh about in every situation. She and Charlie were quite the pair. Or as she called him Chalie", without the "r. I have also never known anyone who loved to clean, but it was her joy. She was and is loved, has made her unique mark on us all, and she will be missed. Love and prayers....Paula.

Margie was my aunt , Daddy's (Isaac Barnett) sister. She was very special to all of us ,but especially Daddy. He said today she cracked walnuts and sold them to get money to buy stamps to send letters to him when he was in the army during WW II. He said she was his lifeline during that time in his life! Her children spent much time at our house growing up! I can still see her smile it is so much like Daddy's.
Over the past 10 years especially, her health has been poor. However, in the past year, and last few months it has been a sad visit to go see her! She remained unresponsive! It broke our hearts to see Daddy shake her arm to try to get a response!
Today Daddy said she is having the best day of her life today! I agree, she is finally home safe , healthy, and happy in the arms of Jesus! Rest in peace Margie you are finally free!
