I knew David back in the good old days in Brodhead.He always had a smile on his face.I moved away from Brodhead. but when I saw him in town ,he knew me by name even tho years had passed.we have lost a good soul.R.I.P. David.

David was five years older than me and some of my oldest memories of Brodhead include David and his father. I remember seeing them walking down the street selling newspapers, he must have been around nine or ten years old then. I remember Davids ability to remember baseball stats and boy was he Cincinnati Red's crazy. I remember another not so nice time at the Brodhead Fair when some bullies were picking on him and my cousin Eddy Hurt sent those bullies running. That was the day I realized how special David really was and also gained a lot of new found respect for Eddy. David Brock was special and I will never forget him as long as I live.

Such a big sports fan, maybe the biggest fan of Rockcastle sports. From the times of hearing him announce little league baseball games to announcing little league football games it was a pleasure and sad that so many will never hear the great job he did or know who he was.
So many good memories of him.
Always remembered a persons name and had a smile on his face.
I doubt he was ever mad at anything.
He lived a life so many of us should be jealous of.

A truly great Christian guy, loved his sports, but loved the Lord the most, would always leave the game, no matter what, to attend Church.
