Thomas Jeffrey Renner

Thomas Jeffrey Renner, age 48, of Mt. Vernon passed away Sunday, April 16th, 2017 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born on November 28th, 1968 to the late Sherman and Lillian (Cummins) Renner in Mt. Vernon, KY. He was a mechanic by trade. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was a very compassionate man and loved his family. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to music and working on vehicles.

Those left to celebrate his life are his: children, Chasity Brooke Burke of Brodhead, KY., Thomas Jeffery Renner Jr. of Mt. Vernon, KY., & Regina Mae Smith of Mt. Vernon, KY.; three grandchildren, Easton Sawyer Smith, Ethan Smith & Gunner Smith; one brother, William Herman Renner; and five sisters, Diane (Bryan) Boggs of Ninety-Six, SC., Lori (Mark) Parsons of Mt. Vernon, KY., Janet (Anthony) Rader of Apison, TN., Kimberly (William) Denny of Mt. Vernon, KY., & Lisa (Ethan) Eversole of Mt. Vernon, KY.; and a special friend, Jane Mills; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, Jeffery was preceded in death by his brothers Michael, Dale & Timothy Renner; his sister Carol Renner; his paternal grandparents Tom & Carrie (Allen) Renner and maternal grandparents Ernest & Ersie (Clifford) Cummins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 from 1-2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with the funeral service following at 2pm with Bro. John Renner officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
