Gary "Willmer" Robinson

Mr. Gary “Willmer” Robinson, age 57, husband of Kaye of Livingston, KY. passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

He was born on December 8, 1958 in Mt. Vernon, KY., a son of the late Morris and Opal Raines Robinson.  He was a member of Morning View Holiness Church, and found great joy in hanging out with family/friends; loved people. He had been an E.M.T. and a Rockcastle County Deputy Jailer.  On March 12, 1983 he was united in holy matrimony to Katherine (Kaye) Robinson and they enjoyed thirty three years together.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife of thirty three years, Kaye Gray Robinson of Livingston, KY.; his children: Julie (Clayton) Hazelwood of Keavy, KY; and Norman (Kay) Childress of Brodhead, KY;  his brothers: Wayne Robinson of Alexandria, KY.; and Joe Robinson of Livingston, KY; his sister: Barbara (Burgess) Daugherty of Mt. Vernon, KY; his grandchildren: Justin Burkhart, Hannah Childress, Owen and Emory Hazelwood. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Mr. Willmer Robinson will be Wed. July 13, 2016 from 6-9 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted Thurs. July 14, 2016 at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Jim Miller and Bro. Burgess Daugherty officiating.  Burial will follow in the Morning View Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gary "Willmer" Robinson Burial Fund.
