Glenn Howard

Mr. Glenn Howard, 72, husband of Phyllis, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Ky., with family by his side.

Glenn was born on April 19th, 1944 to the late Edgar and Grace (Brown) Howard. On September 11th, 1965 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Phyllis Martin and from that union came two children: Paula and Dwayne. He worked at American Greeting for 20 years as a machinist and attended the Church on the Rock. Glenn enjoyed watching T.V., gardening and mushroom hunting.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife of 51 years, Phyllis Howard; his children Paula Taylor of Berea, Ky. and Dwayne Howard; his 2 grandchildren; his brother Billy (Jackie) Howard of Paint Lick, Ky.; his sisters Shirley (Robert) Wilson of Waynesburg, Ky., Linda (Bob) Hollis of Somerset, Ky. and Teresa (David) Shivel of Eubank, Ky.; his special cousin Jerry Brown; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Glenn Howard will be held on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 from 11am until the funeral time of 2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 2pm at the funeral home with Bro. Chris May officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Crab Orchard.

Casket Bearers will be Chris Hollis, Cyle Wren, Jason Hollis, Danny Wilson, Chad Shivel and Derek Taylor.

Honorary Casket Bearer will be Jerry Brown.
