Mabel W. (Bishop) Barnett

Mrs. Mabel Wandaleen Bishop Barnett, Loveland, Ohio, age 80, wife of Bobby Barnett passed away at home on Sunday, September 11, 2016.  She was born February 27, 1936, a daughter of the late James R. and Elizabeth Singleton Bishop. She was a retired seamstress for the Clifton Shirt Company of Loveland, Ohio and a member of Loveland Church of God.

Mrs. Barnett is survived by her husband, Bobby, whom she married March 10, 1958; her children:  Rhonda MacKenzie of Frankfort, Ky.,James D. Barnett of Pleasant Plains, Ohio and Chandra Barnett of Loveland, Ohio; her grandchildren: Christopher E. Turpin, Robert J. Turpin, Crissy A. Godbey and Brandon D. Barnett and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings:  Delray (Janet) Bishop, Loveland, Ohio, Alvin (Lois) Bishop, Crab Orchard, Ky., Marion (Laura) Bishop of Michigan, Bobby Bishop, Ernie Bishop, Doug Bishop (Janet), Jean (Gary) Burns and Genealia Bishop all of Brodhead, KY.

Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by brothers Gene Verdray  Bishop and David Bishop; sisters:  Mamie Levada Rice and Nellie Asher and sisters-in-law:  Margie Bishop and Flossie Bishop.

Visitation for Mrs. Barnett will be Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 11:00 AM until time of the funeral at 2:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, Brodhead, Ky. with the Rev. Phillip Payne officiating.  Burial will follow in the Negro Creek Cemetery, Brodhead, Ky.
