Mrs. Margie Ann Wardlow Bishop, age 72, of Brodhead, KY. completed her journey June 16, 2016 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital.
Margie entered this life March 8, 1944 in Crab Orchard, KY., the daughter of the late William and NonEarl Dishon Wardlow. She achieved her Masters and Rank I and taught school for thirty-one years at Broughtown and Brodhead Elementary Schools. Margie enjoyed reading, shopping, going to horse shows, watching westerns such as Gunsmoke, however, her most precious past time was spending time with her grandchildren. On December 23, 1967 she was united in matrimony to Bobby C. Bishop Sr. Margie was a member of the Crossroads Assembly of God; she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of 48 years, Bobby C. Bishop Sr. of Brodhead, KY; her children: Jennifer (Paul) White of Brodhead, KY and Bobby C. Bishop Jr. (Jacqueline) of Brodhead, KY.; four grandchildren: Bobby Dylan and Brooklyn Shayann Bishop and Madalyn Grace and Addyson Kate White all of Brodhead, KY., one brother: Jimmy (Margie) Wardlow of Crab Orchard, KY. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.
Besides her parents Margie was preceded in death by her brothers: Frank and Elmore Wardlow
Visitation for Mrs. Margie Bishop will be Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 6-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 20, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Crossroads Assembly of God with Bro. Steve Vanhook and Bro Chris Davidson officiating.
