Reecie Isaacs

Mrs. Reecie Cummins-Isaacs, age 79 of Brodhead, Ky., departed this life Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital with family by her side.

She was born on May 2nd, 1937 in Boone, Ky., a daughter of the late Delbert and Elva Saylor Northern.  She had been a homemaker who found great pleasure in quilt making and sewing.  She was of the holiness faith. 

Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Esther (Fred) Hecker of Brodhead, Ky; Reda (Clentin) Bowman of Orlando, Ky; Audrey (Mark) Bishop of Mt. Vernon, Ky;  Edwin (Kathy) Robinson of Blue Springs, Ky; Kim Dale Robinson of Mt. Vernon, Ky.; and Teresa (Jon) Contrabasso of Yuma, Az.  her brothers: Paul (Neva) Northern of Fairview, Ky;  Ray Northern of Berea, Ky; and  Dan (Connie) Northern of Hinton, W. Va.;  her sisters: Irleene (Willard) Neeley of Fairview, Ky; and Betty (Danny) Baldwin of Campbellsville, Ky; her grandchildren:  Mariah Hecker, Jeremy & Nathan Bowman, Natasha Hubbard & Skyler Bradley, Megan, Morgan &  Michael Robinson, Jamey Robinson & Jessica Mason,  Zachary, Jacob and Dylin Contrabasso, & Austin McFerron; her eleven great grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Bernice Northern; two step great grandchildren;  as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by children:  Boyd Jason McFerron and infant Ruby Carol Robinson; grandson: Michael McClure; brothers: Charles Northern and infant  Jack Gilbert Northern.

Visitation for Mrs. Reecie Isaacs will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 11AM until the Funeral Service being conducted at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Allen Hensley officiating Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Snyder.

Honorary Casket Bearers: Natasha Hubbard, Jessica Mason, Skyler Bradley, Mariah Hecker, Megan Robinson and Morgan Robinson.
